Read the overview to the article “When Growth Stalls” (Harvard Business Review) and pre-order the book Stall Points (Yale University Press).
We recently participated in a podcast with our publisher, Yale University Press, and wanted to pass along the link to the podcast here.
The interviewer, Chris Gondek, was quite good (he had clearly read Stall Points closely) and is apparently busily doing this work for a number of academic presses.
We had the opportunity in the podcast to discuss in some detail the reasons that management teams are often the last to see a stall point coming, and we reviewed some of the leading practices companies are using to try to avoid revenue growth stalls. This would be a very good digest of the major lessons of the book for interested readers to download to their iPod or suchlike for commute listening.
Please give it a listen and tell us what you think!
